Giving Back to the City I Love! I have been a La Mesa resident for more than 20 years. In that time, La Mesa has brought me opportunities to build a family, build a business, and build a life within its boundaries. And, it is time for me to give something back, worthy of the gratitude I feel for my 'little' La Mesa. As an attorney, a small business owner, a mother, and a long-time resident, I have a well rounded perspective on what it takes to see La Mesa thrive, and what we can do to improve our community, ensuring our City's resilience for generations to come.I will work to keep our streets safe, develop solutions for an affordable future, and bolster community engagement so that, together, we can keep our "Jewel of the Hills" accessible, beautiful, and thriving for all.

We need to fully fund the La Mesa Police Department and the Heartland Fire Department. We must ensure first responders have the staffing, training, and resources they need to keep neighborhoods safe while responding quickly in emergencies. We should advocate for unhoused La Mesans to get access to services, and for infrastructure that helps our streets and sidewalks remain safe for everyday use.
